St Joe Going Private (Part 3)
.
Just a quick update. This came out over the weekend I believe ...
Anybody have any additional information please add comments ...
It's confirmed, Sekolah Swasta St.Joseph, secondary and primary in same block of old St.Ber School. They might have two sessions, like primary 1 in the morning and form 1 in the afternoon, boys and girls mix. Registration for entry will open soon, at the Camelite Church, bishop's office. Fees are like....registration-rm300, entrance-RM2000, semester-forgot how much already, all non refundable. Need to sit for 'qualifying test' 1st, in July, before the school can admit you. Principal will be a nun, quite strict one mind you, maybe like Sister Sylvia?
St.Joseph's Private Primary and Secondary Schools(SJPPSS) will be a single-session co-ed school, lessons from 7.30am to 3.30pm, followed by extra-curricular activities.
So, if anyone of you wishes to enroll your kids or grandkids, please call 010-974709.
The school will move to a new complex, (next to the existing Parish Centre) which is still under construction, in 2013. For the time being, they are using the old St.Ber. School.
Perhaps those among us former Josephians who are interested could come together and offer our help to the fledgling SJPPSS - financial, knowledge, experience etc - whatever is needed at this stage of its life.
So St Joseph Private will definitely not be at the current premises. Where will it be locate? Primary and Secondary?

ReplyDeleteYea, who's good as a 'roving reporter cum photographer' in Kuching?
ReplyDeleteShall we appoint one WJ? Maybe later give him/her a small salary too?
