  7. Funny looking colour attire. Their colour scheme look like festival flags we see in overseas cities like Sydney or LA or London!

  11. Still have to check on Taib, but a certain George Chan Hong Nam was Head Prefect in 1954 and 1955.

  12. Interesting interesting info re: George Chan Hong Nam. Thought I saw banners claiming 'born in miri, grew up in miri and live in miri' or words to that effect.

  14. Why don't we get the CM or current SJS headmaster to say few words rather than going back to Columba which to many people may not sound a bell as he was headmaster upto 1988!

  15. The CM and present SJS Principal did say more than just a few words as did Fr. Dtk Lawarence Chua.
Jensen Ng was there at a table near to the CM.
Also some news on the SJS Private School was mentioned.

  16. @Anon 7:43PM, I guess Bro Columba is special as he was the second longest serving Principal (18+ years) since Fr Heidagger.

  22. CM's wife told me she forgot to wear her necklace to the dinner cos she was in a hurry..

Told her it's alright as everybody will be looking at her face and not her neck.
