Travel Tips: Food and Fashion in Seoul (Part 2)

In this part, we zoom in on the fashionable side of Seoul. I know that some of you have been looking forward to this (as I've received no fewer than six queries on when it will be posted  .... LOL)

Guys, what I'm going to tell you is SCARY ... In the city of Seoul there are many, many huge shopping malls as well as streets filled with branded shops and little designer boutiques ... and they all cater predominantly to the ladies ... and some of them are open late into the night !  Some of the shopping districts come under the names of Dongdaemun, Myeongdong, Namdaemum, Itaewon, Apjujeong, Insadong, Samcheongdong .... all sure to cost you a dong load of money ! OK, you've now been warned to keep your wife or girlfriend far away from this city !

Here's a montage reflecting some of the shopping streets ...

What follows next is a series of shots reflecting the very fashion conscious population of Seoul. All candid shots taken while strolling around the city. No captions needed, I'm sure ...

  5. I think the people living in countries with four seasons tend to be more "fashionable" cos they have to buy and change their clothing for spring, summer, autumn and winter.

  9. Kind of a disappointment for me.....
Full anticipation of the "Real" Korean fashions against the ones in Vancouver.

The Korean "fashions" here are much more sophisticated and stunning to say the least..ha ha

I suppose the old saying "The Moon is bigger and brighter in foreign land" is true.....

  10. In Pic 7, look at the expression of the guy behind the pretty girl in black. You can make up some good stories about this scene ... Any takers?
