Recently, a small group of former Josephians - mostly from Form 5 (1976) - were invited by Dato' Anthony & Datin Jenna to a pre-launch cocktail party at the premises of Kuching Chiropractic Centre, located next to OneTJ Shopping Mall opposite the Stutong Roundabout (hmmm ... I guess at our age, we are just the right target customer segment for such services. LOL)

I was at the gathering too....but arrived after the photo session, as usual. Great to catch up with the group, although Gerrad had left when I came.

ReplyDeleteBen informed me about the pre-launch cocktail party scheduled at 7.30pm a little late coz I already had an appointment with my family. However Ben insist that I come just to meet with the guys. I managed to squeeze time for the meeting and was there late. I think it was about 9.30pm when I arrived there.
ReplyDeleteIt was good to catch up with George and Ben again. It was nice meeting Jude, Edward and of course Dato and Datin AM. I knew Jude coz we use to hang around the church when we were young. It was also good to meet with Mrs. Ben Wong and Regina, Mrs. George Lo.
AM, sorry about the improper attire to the function coz I was there after the simple gathering I had with the family, hence the T shirt and jeans. My main purpose there was to meet with you guys and I'm glad to have done so.
Edmund, sorry we couldn't meet. There will be another time. Btw, Norbert left when I came.
George, Ben, Norbert and I had a small gathering the next morning somewhere at Tabuan Jaya. It was all about Penang food. Penang Cha-kwei Tiau, Penang Prawn mee, and the topic discuss was which you prefer laksa S'wak or Penang laksa... Cheers

ReplyDeleteSarawak laksa better, Penang one is sour and doesn't have the 'laksa' smell. Had a bowl this morning, heh..heh.
