SKY comes home
LIVE Pictures ... Posted probably while it is still happening ... 950pm
The gang at the Badger Bar, Sarawak Club with visiting buddy Sim Kuan Yang (aka SKY), who is based Down Under.
Must be the best "pick up" joint in town to catch any St Joe "old" boys.....lol. Of course, it's a club and where else would you go. All in the pic are still looking good and SKY now with mustache.
Keep it up, boys and well done to all for looking after your "visitors". I wonder where the other halves were.....hope they are not at home looking after their children and pets!!!
Btw, what other clubs are there in KCH besides the infamous Sarawak Club.

Thanks, James for posting it while we were still chatting. We talked about other "clubs" too colorful to be mentioned here.
ReplyDeleteEr.., which one is SKY? Sorry, getting old, can't seem to remember how he looks now.
ReplyDeleteSeated. Third from right.
ReplyDeleteSure you guys didn't adjourn from Sarawak Club to some of the other Clubs?
ReplyDeleteAnyone got a photo of SKY during schooldays?
ReplyDeleteTo those who do not recognise the rest of these wellknown school mates of '76:
ReplyDeleteStanding (L to R): Sim Kee How; Norbert Liew & Ben Wong
Seating L to R: Nick Lau; Robert Chin; Pok Boon; SKY (Kuang Yang); Edward Chin & Koon Teck
To see a photo of Sky and some others from the 80's see the September blog archive.
ReplyDeleteChew Pok Vun, not Pok Boon
ReplyDeleteIs he not Kwang Yaw?
ReplyDeleteNo, the proper spelling is Sim Kuan Yian.
ReplyDeleteThen he must be the younger brother of Kuan Yaw and Kuan Hui. Or is he connected to Kwang Yang, the 1st DAP MP in the state?
ReplyDeleteKuan Yaw is no. 1, Kuan hui no.2, Sky no.5.
ReplyDeleteThe new James Bond movie is called "SKYfall" :)
ReplyDeleteJames Bond is celebrating 50th anniversary of the franchise. As old as the Josephians of the 70s.
ReplyDeleteWe watched the 1st ..... "Dr No" at the Rex. Some of you weren't even made yet!
