ReplyDeleteThey used to call her Olivia Neutron Bomb :)
ReplyDeleteEdward Chin, do you know that you, me and Olivia Newton-John have the same birthday. However she was born in 1948.
ReplyDeleteWow...she is in her 60s....
ReplyDeleteCan sing n dance or not?
may be not together?
I shall let you know, Mr Chieh.
ReplyDeleteBTW do you remember her concert in north London once in the 70s? Rainbow theatre in Finsbury Park if I'm not mistaken. Did you go ?
Nope..
ReplyDeleteIt was reserved for the two couples I knew who were hot, madly in love ....he he..but I think HG went...
You going this time, WJ?
ReplyDeleteCLK, I think one of the couple have the opportunity to attend this concert and relive their 'hot, madly in love' days.
ReplyDeleteWonder who this couple is...Oooh Oooh Oooh!
ReplyDeleteHard question...He He.....
We know you cannot sing AND dance at the same time, CLK . haha
ReplyDeletewah, first LOBO, now OLIVIA ... nice!
ReplyDeleteDo you know that Olivia Newton-John's maternal grandfather was the Nobel Prize winning physicist Max Born ?
ReplyDelete@U know who - Who is it? Did they sing "You're the one that I want? Who? Who? Who?" Hehehehe
ReplyDeleteI loved GREASE !
ReplyDeleteMaybe WJ can kick the ball rolling by asking who and how many wants to go and attend her show, then maybe WJ can pull a few strings and can get cheap group price?
DeleteOk ka WJ?
"Guess mine is not the first heart broken, my eyes are not the first to cry...."
Delete... "I'm not the first to know, there's just no getting over you .."
Delete@NL - I think it is easiest for anyone keen to book directly online. That's what I did. I;m afraid my connections have "not enough power" for Olivia Newton-John's concert. Can't get any discount.
ReplyDeleteHope I will look that good when I'm her age.
ReplyDeletewhen the song "Physical" first came out, it was banned in some countries for being too suggestive.
ReplyDeleteI saw a video of Olivia and her daughter (quite old already, twenties ..) I think Olivia is better looking than her daughter.
ReplyDelete@Songster - How times ave changed. These days, some songs even have F words in their lyrics! What's the world coming to?
ReplyDeleteWhat about other female singers of that era? Suzie Quattro? Carly Simon? Anne Murray? Mary McGregor? Cher?
ReplyDeletewhat about Madonna? and she's still around !!!
